Recently, we assisted a client in understanding the way in which customers preferred to purchase products of the type our client manufactures. In this assignment, TCG identified the critical issues to explore, developed a structured interview guide, identified customers to contact, interviewed these contacts and used the results to help guide the client to success.
Market research is only valuable if the research is focused on the right questions. We believe that it is important to limit the scope of market research to the areas most likely to have an effect on the business. Then, the methods of surveying the market must be appropriate to the questions that are being asked. Telephone interviews are often the preferred method to obtain information, but TCG has experience with all forms of market research, including web-based surveys and qualitative research through focus groups. We know how to eliminate all potential sources of bias to ensure the cost effectiveness of the research.
